EXMO 2010 Engineering Exhibition

ExMo2010, the Exhibition organized by the Faculty of Engineering, University of Moratuwa, will be held on 9th, 10th and 11th of September 2010 at the University of Moratuwa premises. This will be open for the general public daily from 09.00am to 07.00pm.

ExMO2010, is envisaged to be a large scale technological exhibition, characterized by the united organizing efforts of both the student body and the academic staff. Exhibits from the Faculty of Architecture and the Faculty of Information Technology along with those from other Engineering Faculties, namely the University of Peradeniya and the University of Ruhuna, will also be on display. The exhibition will be held on four consecutive days at the university premises beginning on the 9th of September.

In addition, the exhibition will feature a number of sub-events. Various programs are to be carried out to capture the interest of university students, school students and the general public.

ENTC Robot Competition 2010

The annual robot competition of the department of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering of University of Moratuwa will de held on tuesday 9th march 2010.Robots are designed by the university students who are following the robot design subject.

Student are given a specific task to complete by the robot and marks will given according to their performance at the show.The task is to deliver cubes for a particular location.Finding cubes,searching for shortest path and identify the color of the cubes have to be done by the robot with out any help of the operator.The event is organized by the IEEE student branch and the Department.
